We may record incoming and outgoing calls for training, quality assurance, and project documentation. If you do not want a specific call recorded, tell the CRS representative at the start of the call and we will stop recording for the duration of that call.

CRS employees and crew members who are scheduling, performing, or following up on your project.

Vetted subcontractor crews who work under CRS supervision on installations. These crews are held to CRS written standards and are bound by confidentiality requirements.

• Our phone and text messaging service
• Our payment processor

Insurance carriers and adjusters if you have authorized CRS to communicate with your insurance company about a claim related to your roof.

Manufacturer warranty programs (such as GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning) if your project includes a manufacturer-backed warranty that requires registration of your property and project.

Government agencies when required by law, such as municipal permit offices, tax authorities, or in response to a valid subpoena or court order.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with data brokers or advertisers for any purpose unrelated to providing our services to you.

• Analytics data: Retained according to the default retention settings of our analytics provider (currently 14 months for Google Analytics, configurable).
• Marketing email lists: Retained until you unsubscribe or request removal.
• Phone call recordings: Retained for up to five years for training and quality assurance purposes, then deleted.

After the retention period ends, we securely delete or anonymize your information.

Your Choices and Rights

You have the following choices regarding your information:

Opt out of marketing communications. Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email, or reply STOP to any text message, or email us at admin@certifiedroofspecialists.com.

Request access to the information we have about you. Email admin@certifiedroofspecialists.com with the subject line “Privacy Request, Access.” We will respond within 45 days.

Request correction of inaccurate information. Email us with the corrected information and we will update our records.

Request deletion of your information. Email admin@certifiedroofspecialists.com with the subject line “Privacy Request, Delete.” We will delete your records within 45 days, except where we are required by law or by an active contract to retain them (for example, tax records, warranty records, ongoing project documentation).

Request a copy of your project file. Existing CRS clients can request a copy of their inspection report, estimate, contract, and project completion documents at any time.

Withdraw consent. If you previously gave consent for something (such as marketing emails or call recording), you can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect actions we took before you withdrew consent.

If you live in a state with broader privacy rights (such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or others with active privacy laws), you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of certain processing and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. New Jersey enacted its own data privacy law (the New Jersey Data Privacy Act) effective January 15, 2025. We honor all applicable rights under that law for New Jersey residents.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
